Hi there! I'm Alex, a Product Designer and Software Engineer based in Lisbon. I am passionate about creating products that users love, leveraging my skills in product, design and engineering to bring ideas to life.

With 8+ years of experience, I have developed B2C and B2B products, primarily focusing on SaaS, PaaS, and AI automation tools. My expertise includes conducting market and user research, creating numerous MVPs, analyzing metrics, planning and implementing features, and supporting product roadmaps. I have successfully led cross-functional teams at companies such as Hints, Makesense, and AstraOne.

I'm currently open for new awesome projects, so if you think we'd be a match, please get in touch!

Messenger calendar assistant. Don't lose focus switching between apps.

The project idea came while observing startup team chats that often used Telegram or Discord but couldn't quickly create actionable events from these conversations. A large number of messages simply got lost in the stream. Shifting focus to personal use of messengers, I also noticed that people who suffer from context switching between apps and conversations often lose track of events, reminders, and tasks.

My friend and I decided to create a solution to help such people.

The solution is an AI assistant that integrates into personal or team chats in messengers and, when the bot is mentioned or voice messages are sent, it triggers and creates an event, reminder, or task. Currently, the project is in beta and is actively developing.

Exclusive novels, perfectly tailored for best reading experience

Escapism. Pleasant pastime. Guilty pleasure. Search for inspiration or answers.

Readers around the world find completely different things in books, but they are united by the way they obtain this information: buying books. We've invented a new way to access books and for authors to monetize their books: free daily chapters or full access through subscription. A kind of book streaming. This allows the algorithm to train on what the user likes, the user to read the book and understand whether they like it or not, and the writer to earn more from their work.

This model has opened up the opportunity for us to exclusively license books with loyal authors.

We've created an iOS application that helps users find their authors in a convenient and smart interface, and authors to find and communicate with their readers.

Sales Calls Copilot with video calls analysis

Sales teams struggle with maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of CRM data following client interactions. After meetings or calls, sales representatives are tasked with manually updating CRMs, a process prone to delays and errors. This inefficient practice leads to miscommunications within the sales team, missed opportunities, and a general lack of real-time data availability.

Main pain points:

  • CRM is difficult to fill in and salespeople try to fill it out at the end of the day, which leads to the loss of important information
  • During negotiations and sales, Sales wants to focus on the conversation, not on recording
  • Sales teams have a playbook that they need to ask questions about. It's inconvenient for them to open this playbook in a separate tab, and they try to memorize it
  • Offline salespeople do not enter information into CRM because they do not have time to do this

Playbooks are an important part of the sales team's operating system. Working with this methodology, they don't forget to ask the customer something, only update the necessary CRM fields, and provide data for sales volume forecasts.

Personal and Team AI-powered Knowledge Base

After talking to most participants of the Zettelkasten, GetContent, Mastermind, etc groups, we see three main problems of personal knowledge management and note-taking:

  • Important ideas slip through our fingers.
  • Messy notes create frustration.
  • We don't revisit our notes.

These three problems cause anxiety and drain energy.

Most group members were founders, solopreneurs, or C-level employees of companies. Their main problem was FOMO, that time after time they missed out on contacts and important information. They switched from one tool to another and couldn't find a single convenient solution.

The segment was growing at such a speed, and the accompanying business performance indicators were supplementing this, that we decided to convert the product into Hints AI Automation.

Transform dozen of captured info into actionable knowledge base

After talking to most participants of the Zettelkasten, GetContent, Mastermind, etc groups, we see three main problems of personal knowledge management and note-taking: Important ideas slip through our fingers. Messy notes create frustration. We don't revisit our notes. These three problems cause anxiety and drain energy.

Most group members were founders, solopreneurs, or C-level employees of companies. Their main problem was FOMO, that time after time they missed out on contacts and important information. They switched from one tool to another and couldn't find a single convenient solution.

To further explore the problem, we decided to create a very simple prototype in the form of a Telegram bot. The Telegram bot was made in Python and had very simple integration with Roam Research and Notion, which were popular among users of this segment.

Working Process

Take a breath and finish the projects I've already started this week. Common sense is now more important than bright eyes, so I need to cool off for a couple of days. And unfinished projects — that's what can distract from focus and immersion: knowledge I've gained from many years of working in product startups.
